3 Week Course - Theres so much to cover ! Will try our best to cover the essential ingredients to make a glaze, this topic is endless ! And fun ! Learn the chemical & material properties of glazes, along with how to alter commercial glazes. Together we will go over the different chemical ratios used to make glazes along with a variety of oxides, feldspar's, and frits. Guests will leave with their own colors that they made from scratch along with fundimental . 24 hour studio access is included in this course. Week 1: Wednesday March 4th 6-8pm : review glaze application, resources for materials, and how to mix chemicals. Homework: choose recipe for next class. Week 2: Wednesday March 11th 6-8pm Mix chemicals from scratch, make 3 recipes. Week 3: Wednesday March 18th 6-8pm Review glaze tests, alter a pre-made commercial glaze-i.e turn it into a lava glaze or a glossy Glaze Chemistry: Altering Glaze textures and colors Wednesday March 4th - 6-8pm Wednesday March 11th - 6-8pm Wednesday March 18th - 6-8pm
