Use the link below to set up an appointment to pick up your work.

If you are picking up work for others, please wait until an email is sent to each person. sometimes the pieces are not ready at the same time.

Class pieces typically take 4-5 weeks to fire and package for you to pick up. If it has been longer than five weeks feel free to email us at clay@clayca.com

Why does it take so long to fire? See below to learn about the process of your final work of art:

Week 1: Your piece is carefully set aside to dry slowly. If the clay drys too fast the shock of the moisture in the clay combined with heat may risk cracking, hence why a week is recommended for slow drying.

Week 2: Your piece is marked and placed in the kiln for a 48 hour bisque firing. Once the kiln is cool enough a lab tech unloads the kiln.

Week 3: Piece is dipped in glaze, and loaded back into the kiln for firing. Piece is unloaded from kiln after 28 hours of firing time.

Week 4: Piece is packaged and ready for you. If it has been longer than five weeks feel free to email us at clay@clayca.com

Thank you for your patience.
