Use the link below to schedule a time to pick up your work.

If you’re picking up pieces for others from the same class, please wait until each person receives their email, as not all pieces are always ready at the same time.

Class pieces are typically ready in 4-5 weeks.
If it has been longer than five weeks feel free to email us at clay@clayca.com

Why does it take so long to fire?

Week 1: Your piece is set aside to dry slowly. If it dries too quickly, trapped moisture can cause cracking when fired, which is why we allow about a week for slow, even drying.

Week 2: Your piece is marked and placed in the kiln for a 48-hour bisque firing. Once the kiln cools, a lab technician carefully unloads it.

Week 3: Your piece is dipped in glaze and fired again. After about 28 hours, once the kiln has cooled, it’s carefully unloaded.

Week 4: Piece is packaged and ready for you.

Thank you for your patience.
