Service Description

A hands-on ceramics class focused on creating planters using coil-building techniques. Some light ceramic experience is recommended. Students will learn to roll, stack, and blend clay coils to form functional ceramic planters while exploring form, texture, and surface design. This class emphasizes foundational hand-building skills, creativity, and craftsmanship from start to finish. The limit in size per piece is 14"HX15"W Hour one: Review Coil Techniques and process Hour two: Start to expand height or width Hour three: Ad Details All clay, tools, an firing is included in this class. ***Glazing is not included in this class- we recommend keeping your piece without glaze as it will lead the planter to absorb more water and soil to maintain a healthy plant. Its why a lot of classic commercial red planters are unglazed ! It provides for healthier soil We look forward to having you : )
