Service Description
In this three week course students will have the opportunity to learn how to mix plaster and create slump molds to create replicas of different forms. Ceramic slump molds are commonly used to create functional or decorative forms such as bowls, plates, vases, and other curved shapes. They offer consistency in shape and allow artists to achieve specific and consistent results. Slump molds can be made in various shapes and sizes to accommodate different design ideas and artistic expressions. **Firing and glazing 4 clay pieces you make is included **Due to the heavy nature of plaster we recommend the shape of your choosing be no more than 8inches. As anything larger becomes too heavy to lift. All materials are included along with 24 hour access to the space to account for practice time. Class will be led by Leonard Rusch an amazing ceramic instructor who has been creating pieces for over 40 years.
