Service Description

In this four week course students will learn basic steps and techniques to create work on the pottery wheel from start to finish. Students will go over throwing techniques, along with trimming and glaze application. 24 hour access to Practice outside of class time and all materials are included. February Session Dates: February 2nd-23rd 6:00pm-8:00pm Week 1 wheel throwing 101 - students will learn how to throw on the pottery wheel Week 2 Trimming - students will trim their work from week one Week 3 Surface Design, alteration, and addition - students will design a vessel using different surface techniques, as well as learning about and applying handles to their piece. Week 4 Glazing 101 - Students will glaze all of the pieces they made this month. If interested in a weekend course please return to our class page.
